2022-23 WBB Preseason: Reigning champions South Carolina stay No. 1

South Carolina is the top team in the first poll of the 2022-23 women’s basketball season. The Gamecocks started the season No. 1 last year as well en route to a national championship. In total, 39 teams received votes in the preseason rankings.
