Student Media Poll announces rebranded visual identity, refreshed website

The Student Media Poll released new brand elements Monday as a part of its effort to push the organization into the future.

The Poll, led by its Leadership Board and assisted through its sponsorship with Indiana University Student Media, developed the new logos and brand elements over the last three months.

Indiana Daily Student Special Publications Editor Abby Carmichael used the Board’s stated goals and ideas for what the SMP brand represents to create new visual elements to represent the brand.

The new logos allow the SMP to use its visual identity on expanded mediums. Additionally, the SMP’s podcasts and future endeavors will have a unified brand voice consistent with that of the primary SMP brand.

A refreshed website, which also launched Monday, creates an enhanced user experience with the new brand elements. In the coming year, the Leadership Board is planning a website migration to a new platform, which will expand internal capabilities and further increase the user experience.
