MBB Week 2: Purdue rises to No. 3, Indiana enters rankings

After back-to-back wins over North Carolina and Villanova, Purdue is up to No. 3 in the nation, the highest ranking of any Big Ten team. The Boilers are the only team in the conference ranked in the top 10 after a week of non-conference upsets, seeing Michigan and Illinois drop out of the top 10 and Ohio State and Maryland out of the top 25.

Across the state, the Indiana Hoosiers are ranked at No. 25 , the first ranking under head coach Mike Woodson, after wins this week over St. John’s and Louisiana. Other new entrants to the rankings include BYU, Arizona and Seton Hall.
